GLENN T. TURNER, Plaintiff,
LEBBEUS BROWN, HEIDI BLOYER, JULIE BULMANN, and ZACHARY BERGER, Defendants.
a civil case. Plaintiff Glenn Turner is suing defendants
Lebbeus Brown, Heidi Bloyer, Julie Bulmann, and Zachary
Berger. Defendants were employed as security staff at
Wisconsin Secure Program Facility, where Turner is
incarcerated as a prisoner. Turner alleges that Brown,
Bloyer, Bulmann, and Berger violated his constitutional
rights by disregarding his serious medical needs and by
retaliating against him because he had submitted inmate
grievances, filed lawsuits, written articles, or participated
in interviews advocating for better prison conditions. Turner
says that Brown, Bloyer, and Bulmann confiscated his inhaler
and then failed to get him medical help for an asthma attack.
Turner also alleges that Brown intentionally impeded
Turner’s progress through a program that would have
allowed him to move out of administrative confinement and
into general population at the prison. Defendants deny that
they violated Turner’s constitutional rights in any
any of you ever heard of this case before today? Follow up at
trial of this case will begin today and will likely last four
days, until Friday.
